When we say ‘Website’, we mean TheKable.news, a website owned and operated by Kable Digital Media LLC

When we say ‘Service’, we mean any product created and maintained by Kable Digital Media LLC, including The Kable.

When we say ‘you’ or ‘your’, we refer to individuals who use our website TheKable.news or subscribe to our newsletter, The Kable. 

We may update these Terms of Service in the future. You can track all changes we make on this page. 

When you use our Service, now or in the future, you agree to the latest Terms of Service. This is true for our current and future products and all features we add to our Service over time. There may be occasions when we do not exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service. In doing so, we are not waiving that right or provision. These terms, however, do contain a limitation of our liability. If you violate any of the terms, we may terminate your account. 

Account Terms

  1. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and protecting your password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. 
  2. Subscriptions are for individuals only, and sharing your account with multiple people, including people at the same company, is strictly forbidden and will result in the termination of your account.
  3. You must be a human. Subscriptions registered by ‘bots’ or other automated methods are not permitted.

Payment and Refunds

  1. We offer a free trial and explain the length of the trial when you sign up. After the trial period, you will need to pay in advance to keep using the Service. If you do not pay, we will freeze your subscription, and it will be inaccessible until you make payment. 
  2. If you are upgrading to a paid subscription, we will charge your card immediately, and your billing cycle starts on the day of the upgrade. 
  3. There are no refunds for cancellation; if you cancel before the end of your billing cycle, you have access to your subscription for the remainder of the billing cycle. If we suspend or terminate your subscription for your breach of these Terms of Service, you understand and agree that you shall receive no refund or exchange for unused time on your subscription.
  4. Subscription and access to content services fall under the purview of Service Tax as per the current indirect taxation policy of, Government of India. Taxes are applicable for content consumption on our website and subscription products uniformly for customers based in India and outside the country. Unless otherwise indicated, prices stated on our website include applicable Service Tax.

Cancellation and Termination

  1. You are solely responsible for cancelling your subscription. We provide a simple no-questions-asked cancellation link within your member dashboard. If you need help cancelling your subscription, write to support@thekable.news.
  2. If you cancel the Service during your free trial, we will terminate your access immediately and delete your information from our servers.
  3. If you cancel the Service before your subscription term ends, your cancellation will take effect immediately, and you will not be charged again. However, you will continue to have access to The Kable for the remainder of your subscription term. Once your term ends, we will terminate your access and delete your information from our servers.
  4. We have the right to terminate your subscription and refuse any and all current or future use of our Service if you are found violating these Terms of Service.

Modifications to the Service and Prices

  1.  We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of our Service with or without notice.
  2. Sometimes we change the pricing structure for our products. We will give at least 30 days’ notice and notify you via the email address on record when we do so. We may also post a notice about the changes on our website.

Use License

You are granted permission to view or temporarily download a single copy of the Content provided through the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial use if you include “Used with permission from The Kable”. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license, you may not:

  1. modify or copy the materials;
  2. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  3. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials, or transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server.

We have the right to terminate your access at any time if you are found violating these restrictions.

We do not retain, use, disclose, or sell any of that information for any other commercial purposes unless we have your explicit permission.

However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.

We have designed our Service with care, based on our own experience and the experiences of customers who share their time and feedback. However, there is no such thing as a Service that pleases everybody. We make no guarantees that our Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

Infringement of Copyright

In good faith, if you have reason to believe that any work copyrighted by you has been reproduced, embedded, or linked without any authorisation on this Website, in a manner that constitutes an infringement of your copyright under Indian law, please compile the following information and email to support@thekable.news

  • clear identification of the allegedly infringing material on the Website (with specific URL reference);
  • your contact details: name, address, email address and phone number;
  • a statement that you believe, in good faith that the use of the copyrighted material allegedly infringed on the Website, is not authorised by your agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information provided in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the signatory is authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive copyright right that is allegedly infringed;

Applicable Law

This Website, including the Content and Contributed Content and information contained herein, and the provision of Services shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India and the courts of Mumbai, India shall retain exclusive jurisdiction to entertain any proceedings in relation to any disputes arising out of the same. As such, the laws of India shall govern any transaction completed using this Website.

Information Gathered and Tracked

When you sign up for a free trial or upgrade to a paid subscription, we collect information from you. This information which includes but is not limited to your name, email address and contact number, is stored in a database. We may use this information to send out alerts on your subscription or inform you about new Services we launch from time to time.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism

In case you have any complaints or grievance pertaining to your access or use of the Service, please share the same with us by writing to please write to the Grievance Redressal Officer.

On receiving such complaint, grievance or notice, the Company reserves the right to investigate and/or take such action we may deem appropriate. We may reach out to you to seek further clarification or assistance with the investigation or verify the statements made in your complaint, grievance or notice. You acknowledge that your timely assistance with the investigation will facilitate the redressal of the same.

We reserve the right to replace the Grievance Redressal Officer at our discretion and will publish the name and title of the replacement on the website. The replacement shall come into effect immediately upon publication.
